"Fire Alarm Servicing must be carried out in accordance with BS 5839".

The Responsible person must carry out a weekly check of the fire alarm system using a different call point for each successive test then record there findings in the Fire Log Book.

Every six months you must instruct a competent person to service your fire alarm system and issue you with a Certificate in accordance with BS 5839.

Every call point, smoke detector and heat detector must be checked at least once every 12 months

The Fire Alarm panel in accordance with BS 5839 must be checked periodically for fuses, battery levels etc… and this must not exceed a period of six months.
Therefore we carry out all services of fire alarm systems every six months and issue the customer with a certificate in accordance with BS 5839.
